The second part is certainly very difficult to understand. This song sounds philosophical to me.

I would translate : "When I got rid of my doubts, I got undoubtful. " "I've come here, and the sun has set. I'm feeling repeated impatience. "

"馬鹿になる" usually means "to be foolish", but in this context, it makes no sense. In Japan "馬鹿になる" sometimes means "to be undoubtful" or "to be pure in heart ".

I really, really need to have this video translated into English. Please? Just type the translation. I really, really need it. Thank you very much.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ia5j832OMKQ|||If it's ok, I can't really do a full translation but I can give you a summary.

Iwasaki Mineko you can say is the legendary Geisha. She entered the Geisha world at the age of four because of Koubu-san who desperately persuaded Mineko's parents to have Mineko join her household. This was due to the fact that Mineko was the most prettiest girl in town. Therefore Mineko became part of the Iwasaki's. Because she was the most prized girl of the household, she was treated differently from the other girls, she had her own personal maid who opens and closes the door for her and who also walks with her to school while carrying her belongings. Mineko herself states that the maid followed quietly behind her without Mineko herself noticing. Mineko was so important that non of the other girls were allowed to raise their chopsticks until Mineko did. Then the recollection was Koubu-san telling Mineko that the bowl she was eating out of was an antique from the edo era and that it's a very important. Well Mineko herself said that she didn't understand what was cheap and what was expensive at that time because she thought " oh, it's 5 million yen" and at that time she thought it was normal as in a bowl would cost 5 million yen. When all the other classmates had their lunch boxes packed in their bags, Mineko would be empty handed, but when lunch came, her maid would personally deliver her a 3 layered lunch box. Even when her maid rushed the delivery Mineko would say "you came late" and after eating she would tell the maid to clean up as in to show how bossy she was. Mineko herself talked about how bossy she was and at the end she apologized for being so rude. Mineko went to a normal school and because she was treated differently by her household that the other children started bullying her. And when her eyes were bad and she couldn't see the board she sat at the front, but her teacher told her to sit at the farthest back because her household had money and that they could do something about her eye sight and he also added that she should be adult like and sit in the back. Mineko said that she just wanted to study just like the rest of her classmates, but why would he tell her to sit in the back just because her household had money? After that she couldn't talk, neither to her teachers nor her friends. Mineko felt that she was all alone and that there was no one left but her. Then with her strict training in becoming a Geisha she said to herself that she can not afford to loose, so she put all her efforts into the training. Then at the age of 15 she became a Geisha and was on her way to becoming a legend. But the Geisha world wasn't as easy as she thought it would be. On Mineko's first job she was nervous and she trusted an older Geisha because she gave her kind words before they started their job. But the older Geisha turned her back on her by saying she is bad mouthed and that the Iwasaki household is scary. Mineko was so frustrated at what the older Geisha was saying cause she was telling herself how is the Iwasaki household scary I really want to know, and why would the older Geisha say such things. Little did Mineko know, this was just the start of her bullying in the Geisha world. The put 20 needles in her kimono, they even used her hand as a personal ash tray. Even after being bullied in school, she gets bullied in the Geisha world, but she made up her mind to not loose again. She made up her mind to not loose to anyone and to become the number one Geisha. With her determination she actually became the number one Geisha. Then after that they are just re-summarizing what the narration showed and thats it.. It's not 100% accurate but I hoped I helped...

Can someone help me translate from Japanese to English or direct me to the right icon on this website?

I got my niece a Love and Berry Nintendo DS game (Japanese Version) and I need to purchase more cards for her to advance into the game. For some reason, the cards dispensed by the arcade game does not work on the Nintendo console. I found this website http://osharemajo.com/cs/ds/index.html - hoping I could buy the cards here. Can someone direct me how I could buy the cards from this website? The happiness of a nine year old depends on it.. :D Thanks very much!|||You can't buy cards from this website, sorry. I don't know much about this game but FAQ of this website says you can use cards of winter 2006 version and older versions, but you can't use spring 2007 Sakura version and later.

Can anybody translate (from Japanese to English)?

Hi I'm such a huge fan of these series (law of ueki, law of ueki plus) and I want these translated into english! (formally Japanese).

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/66939645@N0…

http://www.flickr.com/photos/66939645@N0…|||One day about two years after the battle to decide the next god, Koseke Ueki, now Chugaku 3 nensei, (year 3 in junior high school), was involved in an incident where people all around the world lost their memories (cube) they had shared with their beloved ones.

He was forgotten even by his comrade Ai Mori, who had once fought the battle with him.

Ueki, the only one in the world who was spared having his memory eliminated, went on a trip with Wool into a different world called "Hanka-gai," to take back the memories of all people.

Then they started a fight in a bid to help out Milley, a girl who'd been chased by Ginzo, a debt collector, but they lost miserably, overwhemled by the unknown power that Ginzo possessed (job-specific power).

To possess that power (the ability to add some special effect to a certain tool), Ueki took the challenge posed by Nagara, the manager of a laundry where Milley was staying as a freeloader. Ueki made it through the challenge, got "Dogu-mon" (the palmprint required to possess the power) and became a possessor of the power.

Hey, I need a website that translate english to japanese kanji for a tattoo, i'm willing to pay as long as its not too expensive. The quote is quite long though:

Goodness doesn't happen because of a chance agreement. All dreams are simultaneously attended with the danger of certain risk, especially the failure. However, I am not stopped by the risk. Please assume great person's running the risk, and the failure. And, the person should try again. You cannot fail indefinitely. • How do you translate this into English from Japanese?

I'll use romanji just because it makes it easier for me. The following text is from a book written in hirigana called the "tongue-cut swallow", it is a Japanese Children's book and there is one sentence that I can't figure the meaning of:

aruhi ojiisanga takeyabude kegaoshite suzumeha mitsuha ieni tsurutekaerimashite.

What I don't understand is takeyabude, is take referring to a mountain? what does bude translate to?

Any help is much appreciated, Thanks.|||I think your mistake is where you are splitting the words.

Are there any good sites to translate English into Japanese romaji?

If you know any GOOD sites to translate English into Japanese romaji, I'd appreciate it if you could share it with me so I can tell my friend about it. I REALLY don't want to sift through all of the crap that pops up on Google/Yahoo searches.

And any information or sites about grammar and the structures of Japanese sentences would be helpful, too, so she can actually put words together. (And so I won't have to explain it a hundred times...)|||The is no such thing as a non-human reliable Japanese/English translator. The best you will be able to do is to use a dictionary. It will give you word for word, but it lacks grammer.

Some sentences are truncated. This happens when you post a string of a certain length or more without any spaces in it. This often happens with Japanese, since it usually doesn't put spaces between words. To avoid this, put some spaces or carriage returns within the sentence.
