Can someone translate this Japanese to English for me?

I know how to speak Japanese, but I want to make sure I didn't translate ANYTHING wrong in this, because I'm talking to someone who could potentially help me with a few things, and I don't want to sound like an idiot if I misinterpret this: "nihon ni kyoumi wo motte kurete arigato. Anata to itsuka aeru hi wo tanoshimi ni sihteruyo! kawaii de tsunagarou" Thanks^_^|||'Thank you for having an interest in Japan. I'm looking forward to the day i can meet you! ...'



The next part doesn't make sense without context. It'd be either: 'Lets connect over cute (ness/things)' or 'Lets connect because (you) are cute'.
