How does Old English translate to Japanese?

When translating Old English to Japanese, do they just use the modern usage of the English words, or is there actual Japanese "words" for terms like "thou," "hither," and other similar terms?|||They are usually translated with old Japanese words when there are such words.





thou = そなた(sonata) or 汝(nanji)


you = あなた(anata) or 君(kimi), etc.|||Oh god that would sound hard to translate.





But I'm supposing every language must have similar words to old english, but yes they do use modern english words and some are still dated but it's rarely used anymore.|||For words like thou and hither there are old Japanese terms that would be equivalent. I can't recall them right now, but they do exist.
