Is tomorrow friday?


Ashita = 明日 - tomorrow


wa = は - subject marker


kinyoub = 金曜日 - Friday


desu = です - is


ka = か- Question Marker








2. Kurisumasu was nangatsu desu ka


クリスマスは何月ですか？


What month is Christmas?


Kurisumasu = クリスマス - Christmas


wa = は - Subject Marker


nan = 何 - what


gatsu = 月 - month


desu = です - is


ka = か - Question mark





3. kore wa shoo tesuto desu ka?


これはしょおテストですか？


Is this a test? (shoo tesuto = hmm checkpoint test)


tesuto = テスト - test (western word so this is written in Katakana)





4. Kore wa nihongo no hon desu


これは日本語の本です


Kore - this


wa


Nihongo = 日本語 - Japanese


no = の - Possessive Marker ( Ex: 's in English)


Hon = 本- Book


desu - is








5. Gakkoo wa dou desu ka?


How is school?


学校はどうですか


Gakkoo = 学校 - School


Dou = どう - how





Gakkoo wa dou desu ka is similar to dou desu ka? like how is something...


For example:


Eiga wa dou datta? (datta = deshita)


映画はどうだった


映画＝Eiga＝Movie


How was the movie?





Another example:


Kyou wa dou datta? (datta = deshita)


今日＝Kyou＝Today


How was your day？
